My name is Alison Berrow. Based in Newcastle under Lyme, I entered my photography degree as a mature student. With a love for the city’s industrial past, I have created this website to showcase some of my images of the remaining 47 Bottle Ovens and historic buildings connected to our great Ceramic legacy.
Working with local musicians, music festivals and artisans, my aim is to capture the essence of the people who live and work in the six towns of ‘The Potteries’ whatever their talent.
Some of my published work online and in print includes:
Website and promotional leaflet photography for Bluegrass & Beyond Music Camp
https://bluegrassandbeyond.co.uk/
DawsonDean Album Cover ‘Wasting Time’
British Bluegrass Music Association Magazine.

My self-published work of ‘47’ showcasing images of the forty-seven remaining bottle ovens in the area was produced in 2021 as part of my university Foundation project.
